My Story

I think I was always destined to become a handyman; I just didn’t take the typical path.

You see, at the age of ten, I was interested in working with my hands and helping out my neighbors, so I started mowing lawns, pulling weeds, and even house and pet sitting.

It wasn’t long before I was working at a two different hobby farms taking care of the never-ending to-do lists that they accumulate while the homeowners were at their day jobs.

From tongue and groove siding repair to making a chicken hutch I was there to help them with whatever they needed.

Just before the end of my junior year in high school our family was transferred to an island in the southern part of Florida. I soon became a handyman that worked on boats, doing everything from cleaning the barnacles off the bottom, bring gas out to boaters that ran out, and even rescuing boats as they were sinking.

One thing led to another and 10 years later I found myself working off the coast of Africa for a month at a time. Not easy for a father with young kids, and even less so for my wife!

I had to get out of there, so I took a couple different jobs when I came shoreside primarily working in real estate and vacation rental management, but still something was missing.

So I went back to what I enjoyed doing and started a handyman business.
